Joel Kurzman is passionate about representing all neighborhoods of Wilmette. Joel is proud to have lived in West Wilmette for nearly fourteen years and has ties throughout the Village. The Wilmette community has proven to be a wonderful place to live, work, and raise a family - which is why Joel is so excited to serve as Village Trustee.
Joel believes in stewardship, the ethic of responsible planning and management of resources. Through the lens of stewardship, Joel Kurzman is working to ensure Wilmette is as livable - or better - for the young family that moves to our community tomorrow as it has been for us. Joel believes stewardship doesn’t happen by itself. Stewardship requires dedicated community leaders to step up. Joel views the Village Trustee role as oversight and caretaking for our amazing community. Joel is qualified, inspired, and energized to serve in this role.
